Charlie and Jade Present… ‘The Crooning and Jazz Greats’

Charlie Chech (formerly known as Charlie Tchetchenian) and Jade Stegbauer will delight audiences in their fabulous ode to the crooning and jazz greats.

The talented duo will honour artists such as Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, combined with the modern-daycrooners in Michael Bublé and Harry Connick Jr.

As a special treat, Charlie and Jade will feature some classic Christmas tunes in a nod to Christmas in July.

The young duo met at the prestigious Talent Development Project (TDP), Australia’s most successful youth training and development program in the music and entertainment industry, under the mentorship of the renowned Peter Cousens. Charlie and Jade are part of the 2022 Graduating class of the TDP.

Charlie Chech (formerly known as Charlie Tchetchenian)

Sydney-based musician and vocalist Charlie Chech is a lover of jazz and crooning, honouring the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole et al, combined with the modern day crooners in Michael Bublé and Harry Connick Jr.

In February 2020, Charlie had the pleasure of singing with International Grammy Award winner and music sensation Michael Bublé during his Australian tour in Sydney. Definitely a highlight of his musical career so far and one which he will hold dear to his heart forever!

Charlie has just come off his second major stage show and concert at Hornsby RSL Club, as one of the youngest performers the club has featured in their own headline show - an extraordinary feat!

Charlie has held several sell-out shows at Sydney Jazz Club Foundry 616 and various venues in Sydney. He has entertained audiences at private events, gala evenings, for TV and radio, and even kept audiences swingin' in virtual online concerts during the height of the Covid lockdown.

Charlie is part of the 2022 Graduating class of the prestigious Talent Development Project (TDP) - Australia's most successful youth training and development program in the music and entertainment industry. Mentored and led by award-winning actor, singer, producer and director Peter Cousens AM, TDP graduates have included Human Nature, John Foreman OAM, Sam Fisher and more.

Charlie's deep bass voice adds to the already brilliant jazz and crooning greats - it's his mission to keep the spirit of these extraordinary singers alive for generations.

Jade Stegbauer

Jade Stegbauer is a Sydney-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who expresses her music through guitar, keys, electric and acoustic guitar, and saxophone. The genres Jade covers in her original songs are as diverse as the instruments she plays; with Soul, Pop R&B and jazz all featuring in her work. Jade released her debut song and music video on 23-11-21. In her live performances and shows Jade has the ability to connect and captivate audiences of all ages through her full-hearted song writing skills, vocal artistry and engaging presence.

Jade is part of the 2022 Graduating class of the prestigious Talent Development Project (TDP), Australia’s most successful youth training and development program in the music and entertainment industry.

As well as being an accomplished soloist and harmonist, Jade has also held lead roles in musical theatre productions. She is also a prize-winning photographer and enjoys acting and video production.
