Claire's pop up petit cabaret presents: MANDY BISHOP AND PHIL SCOTT
Time & Location
About The Event
3 courses from our a la carte menu and 2 twenty minute sets
MANDY BISHOP And PHIL SCOTT, two of the four regulars of Sydney’s Wharf Revue, bring you a mix of numbers out of context from their political satire shows, plus anything else they feel like singing because they can. This is the A team: BISHOP is an influencer, and SCOTT is usually under the influence.
MANDY is thrilled to be performing at Claire’s Kitchen having been a fan for years! Mandy recently toured jazz concerts with Simon Tedeschi and John Bell. She will next be appearing in 44 SEX ACTS IN ONE WEEK (yes apparently there are only 44?!) at Belvoir later this month, and in November/December will appear in CAN OF WORMS, the new Wharf Revue at the Seymour Centre.
PHIL returns to Claire’s with his co-star from the Wharf Revues, after his solo mid-Covid show last year (PLAGUED BY DOUBT) and his 2019 appearance with Catherine Alcorn. Phil is a cabaret fixture. He has created and performed in shows with Trevor Ashley, Blake Bowden, Vincent Hooper, and was Helpmann nominated* for his one man show about Lionel Bart, REVIEWING THE SITUATION. Phil too will be opening a CAN OF WORMS later this year.
* Didn’t win.
