Bev Kennedy is one of Australia’s leading musicians and Musical directors having worked on over 30 Professional music theatre productions including The Lion King, Charlie and the chocolate factory, Billy Elliot, We Will Rock You and Mamma Mia to name a few.
She has played for several Grammy award winning artists, including Jose Carreras, Thelma Houston, Liz Calloway, Basement Jaxx and Sir Bryn Terfel, and has played on an Aria award winning recording of Pirates of Penzance, which is the highest selling recording of a live show in Australian History.
Locally Bev has worked on shows with artists such as Anthony Warlow, Marina Prior and Tina Arena.
Bev worked for Cove theatrical agents in 2000 booking performers at the Regent Hotel, the official SOCOG Hotel for the Sydney Olympics and has also worked as Co-Producer with local star Trevor Ashley for his highly successful Showqueen series, which ran for 2 and a half years and produced two live CD’s. She has also worked as Co-Producer alongside English baritone Andrew Bukenya for the highly successful 2 X 20 pop up Cabaret series at the Sydney City Recital Hall.
Bev is delighted to be working as Entertainment Curator for Claire’s Kitchen, bringing her wealth of knowledge of the Australian Music scene to the finest venue in Sydney.
