Claire's Petit Cabaret

PAULA TERRY
FRIDAY 21/NOVEMBER
Paula Terry returns to Claire’s Kitchen with Life in Notes, a soulful, spellbinding evening of live music and storytelling.
From the pop anthems of her early days in France to the jazz and soul that shaped her years in Tokyo and Sydney, Paula takes you on a musical journey through the soundtrack of a life — the songs that move us, the memories that linger, and the moments that make us who we are.
Expect powerhouse vocals, heart, humour, and the unmistakable energy only Paula brings to the stage.
An intimate night of connection, emotion, and timeless music. A celebration of life, love, and the melodies that stay with us long after the last note fades.

GIANNA CHEUNG & VINCENT HUYNH
WEDNESDAY 26/NOVEMBER
What You Don’t Know…
by Gianna Cheung and Vincent Huynh
Everyone has a version of themselves they let the world see - and another they keep tucked away. In What You Don’t Know…, Gianna and Vincent pull back the curtain on their unlikely friendship, revealing how much more there is beneath the surface.
Once in the same boat, their paths drifted apart - one caught a lucky wind, while the other was left rowing against the current. Both want to be supportive, both are hiding how they really feel, and neither wants to be the villain in the other’s story. Equal parts heart, humour and harmony, this two-act cabaret explores ambition, envy, and what it really means to be seen.

ROB EASTERBROOK
THURSDAY 27/NOVEMBER
All aboard for a musical trip with Sydney’s only singing train driver. Rob will take you on a melodic journey via many different musical styles. While he will always treat you to a hearty dose of swing you might also stop at some unexpected stations along the way. Think Michael Bublé meets Michael Jackson via Van Morrison with a side of Peter Allen. Rob will drive you through a night of songs, stories and laughs, with perhaps a quick stop work meeting along the way so you can tuck in to the delicious food available. Rob has been singing and playing violin since the age of six, but now he is all grown up and has his licence to drive an audience wild with delight at one of his unique cabaret shows in this distinctive venue

PHOEBE BARNETT & MIA CROSS
WEDNESDAY 3/DECEMBER
This cabaret is a dazzling celebration of friendship.
The kind of love that doesn’t need roses or rings, just laughter, loyalty, and late-night chats. Through song, story, and a dash of mischief, this cabaret pays tribute to the people who hold our hands through heartbreak, cheer the loudest in the front row, and remind us that soulmates aren’t always romantic.

MEREDITH O'REILLY
THURSDAY 4/DECEMBER
" Like Melba, Meredith returns for her 7th and final Claire's Kitchen cabaret show before this iconic venue sadly closes its doors for good.
I AM WOMAN will celebrate the wonderful female singers and songwriters that have enriched the soundtrack of our lives. Meredith's favourites include Carole King, Linda Ronstadt, (Mama) Cass Elliot, Bessie Smith, Karen Carpenter, Billie Holliday, Peggy Lee, Blossom Dearie and of course, Barbra Streisand.
Accompanied on keyboard with great panache and handy backing vocals by John Martin."

PHIL SCOTT & BLAKE BOWDEN
FRIDAY 5/DECEMBER
Two old gay friends – one much older if not gayer than the other, and both with years in the biz’ – bring you a show from the relaxed, casual end of professional cabaret.
Blake Bowden (The Book of Mormon, Phantom of the Opera, South Pacific) and Phil Scott (The Wharf Revue, 30 Something, Reviewing the Situation) consider the Musical
Theatre scene today, and all the roles that have opened up to them through non-traditional casting.
In between telling backstage stories, and nailing songs that were hits and misses, Phil and Blake also tell a love story: love for this tricky old business, love for their audience, and a love of working together.
Going Through a Stage is like wandering over to the piano at a celebrity showbiz party,
cocktail in hand, where a leading man with stunning vocals, and a dazzling pianist, have
teamed up to provide entertainment for their friends.
The polish of the big blockbuster shows, with the wit of the Wharf Revue.”
