Join Award Winning Opera and Musical Theatre singer, Olivia Ruggiero, for an hour of Broadway Belts, West End Wonders, Opera Classics and those earworms that you know you love from shows including Les Miserables, Anastasia, Jesus Christ Superstar and many more! This is a show that celebrates those songs you just can't get out of your head.

A show for musical lovers and Broadway novices alike, Broadway Diva makes its Sydney premiere at Claire's Kitchen.

Bio:

Olivia developed a love of performing at an early age, undertaking many

creative studies including piano, trumpet, drama and singing. She completed

her singing exams with Trinity Gui ldhal l at age 17 and her drama exams with

Trinity Gui ldhal l at age 16. She received a Diploma in World Theatre and a

Diploma in Musical Theatre from IMEB in 2014.

Ol ivia graduated from Griffith University at Queensland Conservatorium of

Music (QCM) with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre in 2017.

Ol ivia has also had the opportunity to perform at the 2015 Tourism Awards;

Lord Mayor’s City Hal l Concerts as a featured soloist in 2017; as a soloist

with the Queensland Pops Orchestra in 2017 and was featured in the “Thank

You for The Music: An ABBA Celebration” at the QPAC Concert Hal l in 2017.

In 2018 Ol ivia portrayed Raelene in the Austral ian Premier of S*** Storm at

Anywhere Festival in Brisbane. In 2022 her one-woman show “Puppets”

premiered at KXT before touring to The Butterfly Club in Melbourne,

Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Bondi Pavi l ion in Sydney. “Puppets” was

awarded Best New Musical in the 2022 Broadway World Sydney awards and

Ol ivia was awarded Best Cabaret Performer. Ol ivia is excited to premiere her

new show “Broadway Diva” at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2023.
