Shauna Jensen, who has wowed LGBTQI+ audiences in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, New Zealand, Los Angeles, Chicago, Rome and London and the infamous Atlantis cruises, presents Dance Floor Anthems UNPLUGGED.

Curated especially for Claire’s Kitchen at Le Salon World Pride 2023 program, Shauna takes us on a musical journey through many of the songs you’ve whirled, twirled, pranced, frolicked and fallen in love to at dance parties all over the world.

Hits by Whitney, Madonna, Kylie, Deborah Cox, Sylvester, Freemasons, Wayne G, just to name a few, but with a little twist.

Shauna will be accompanied by the ever sexy and uber talented Jeremy Brennan on piano.

BIO: At Claire’s Kitchen Shauna is known as our very favourite Diva. An you’re asking yourself why? Who is she?

Well, Shauna is very well known in the Australian music industry, having a very high profile from working as a backing vocalist and studio singer. Shauna worked for many years as the leading backing vocalist in Australia, working with such amazing stars as Jimmy Barnes, Cold Chisel, Noiseworks, Richard Clapton, Margaret Urlich.

She was the voice of many well known TV, radio and cinema jingles, dubbing herself as the “Jingle Queen” of the 80’s and 90’s.

Shauna has performed 4 main shows at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras after party, The Harbour party, The Mardi Gala at the Sydney Opera house. She tours with Bob Downe in Viva Bob Vegas, literally getting a standing ovation for her spot, nightly. She also sold out her Aretha Franklin Songbook at The Sydney Opera House.

Shauna has headlined at LGBTQI parties in London, Rome, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and New Zealand

Marc Kuzma, aka Claire De Lune, first heard Shauna singing in the back bar at the now defunct Albury Hotel. They immediately struck up a lifelong friendship, with Marc encouraging Shauna to explore her cabaret side, which has truly paid off and Shauna has now performed so many sold out shows here at Claire’s Kitchen @ Le Salon she really is our very own.
