Join Mo and Gordon as they attempt to figure it out together, looking back on their experiences, whether it be years or a yearin the industry. Mo Bio:
Mo made their professional debut in 2022, playing the role ofJoin the final weeks of GWBProductions’Jagged Little Pill, directed by Leah Howard at the Theatre Royal. They madetheir Belvoir debut as the role ofLittle Red Riding Hoodin Belvoir St’s 2023 production ofInto the Woods, directed by Eamon Flack. In 2016, Mo was invited to perform the role ofMaddiein the professional workshop ofFaustby Joe Kelly and Steve Cosgrove, directed byPeter Adams.They have appeared in TV campaigns for Optus and Woolworths, and webcampaigns for The Smith Family and Country Road. In 2020 and 2022, they performed atClaire’s Pop-Up Petit Cabaret at Claire’s Kitchen Darlinghurst, accompanied by Bev Kennedyand Lindsey Partridge. Mo’s most recent credit was the role ofCarrie Whitein Ignite TheatreCompany’s inaugural production ofCarrie the Musicalin November this year.
Gordon Bio:
Gordon made their professional debutstarring in the short film,Sydney 2079which waspart of theofficial selectionofthe 2022 Cannes Film Festivalin the American Pavilion.Hehas also written and directed for stage, directing their own playDream a Little Dream of Mein late 2022. They have appeared around various stages in Sydney, most notably playingLarry Durrellin the Genesian theatre company’s production ofMy Family and OtherAnimals,as well as originating the role ofRoger Baxterin the Australasian premiere ofTheDisappearanceat Chippenstreet theatre. This is his second performance at Claire’s Kitchen,following the immense success of the award nominated cabaret,The Story of Tonightalongside Liam Dimond.
