3 course dinner and 2 twenty minutes live sets

Just under 2 years ago, Andrew made his debut at Claire’s Kitchen in a sold-out collaboration with Ms Bev Kennedy. With a bass voice that plumbs depths and scales heights of repertoire, from Purcell and Gershwin to Chaka Khan and Stevie Wonder, spanning languages, centuries and styles, Andrew is back with an intimate program of  music to accompany the sumptuous menu (at Claire’s) joined again by Ms Bev at the keyboard.

He currently hosts Sydney Symphony Hour on FineMusic Sydney  & the online artists interview series, Andrew Bukenya Presents ‘Chat & DashAndrew Bukenya  (London/UK)studied music(singing & conducting) at the University of East Anglia and was twice awarded the Norwich & Peterborough Scholarship, enabling him to continue vocal studies with John Aplin. A Japanese Government (Monbusho) Scholarship   saw him pursue post graduate solo vocal studies at the Tokyo National University of Music and Fine Arts.His career has ranged from music theatre roles, oratorio & opera in the UK (Glyndebourne), Japan (Suntory Hall) and Australia; sold out recitals (in music ranging from renaissance lute song to gospel at Kings College Cambridge, Griffin Theatre with Aria winning harpist Marshall McGuire (Mardi Gras Festival), and Bev Kennedy for 2by20 (City Recital Hall) ; duet vocals with Chaka Khan &Sheila E (Blue Note) in addition to back up vocals for Usher (Tokyo) and George Benson with the SSO at the Opera House and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.Engagements to date include ‘Do The Spike Thing- a Spike Lee Tribute (VIVID: producer/MD/ soloist), soloist/conductor with the Cafe of The Gate of Salvation Gospel Choir, featured soloist in Paul Mac & Lachlan Philpott’s, acclaimed ‘The Rise & Fall of St George (Mardi Gras  Festival / Midsumma at Melbourne Recital Centre) & appearances with The Inner West Voices and Leichardt Espresso Choir.

The cabaret room capacity is now only 30 guests to adhere to the Covid 19 personal distancing rules
