About the event
3 course dinner and 2 twenty minutes live sets
. Having built a career playing non-threatening male authority figures in musical comedy, you’re invited to escape to Blake's cabaret for an uplifting night of high notes and low self-esteem. Featuring songs from Stephen Sondheim, William Finn, and Jeanine Tesori; this understudy is going over the top.
"Blake Erickson has the kind of natural gravitas you can’t quite train for; he has an ability to share the most embarrassing or vulnerable stories and still retain a quiet, indelible dignity...He finds the soul and still-beating heart of a number and a character and wears it bravely on his sleeve and in his throat and in his eyes: he is our centre, our gateway into the world of a person and a show.” - Cassie Tongue
