“Oh no! Not another cabaret about love and loss?!”. It’s not the destination but the journey. Right? Well Charmaine has certainly had that! Tales of auditioning, managing and proceeding to short circuit a Sydney restaurant, to navigating her crazy love life, having her son and eventually finding love, Charmaine wants you to sit back, relax, enjoy the night, and at the end of it, feel bloody glad that you’re not her!!!

BIO

An invited soloist with the London College of Music and obtaining her A.T.C.L in Performance at Trinity College, London, Charmaine continued her study of voice in 2017 achieving a Distinction in her A.Mus.A. (Music Theatre)

Studying in both Australia and the UK, her teachers have included International Soprano Amanda Thane OAM, English National Opera’s Ann Howard, and OA’s Kerrie O’Connor & Trevor Brown.

Charmaine’s stage roles have included Anna, (The King and I), Mary (Mary Poppins),Aldonza (Man of la Mancha), Diana (Next to Normal), Maria (The Sound of Music), Eponine and Fantine (Les Miserables), Ellen (Miss Saigon), Florence Vassey (Chess), and starred in the tour de force, one woman show (Tell me on a Sunday)

A career highlight, Charmaine performed as an invited artist alongside Anthony Warlow and under the baton of the late, great, Maestro Tommy Tycho.

A sought-after vocal coach with over 20 years experience, Charmaine is the resident voice coach for Fulltime Students at ‘Ettingshausens Pro’ whilst running her own private studio. In addition to this she continues her engagement with “The NSW Schools Spectacular” as vocal coach and consultant for the Featured Artists, a position she has held for the past 8 years.

The cabaret room capacity is now only 45 guests to adhere to the Covid 19 personal distancing rules
