Matilda graduated WAAPA in 2015 with a Bachelor of Music Theatre, and has since performed in New York as recipient of the Bound for Broadway ASCAP/TDP scholarship as well as touring Australia, Shanghai and Singapore with WB Productions/ Mark Bradley International. In 2020, Matilda was cast as Alice and cover Lily/ Rose in Opera Australia/ Gordon Frost’s 25th Anniversary production of The Secret Garden, as well as playing Fantine in Les Miserables (Packemin). She was a semi-finalist in the Rob Guest Endowment 2017 and recently featured Gussie in Merrily We Roll Along (Little Triangle), Between Worlds (dir. Jason Langley), as Kate Mullins in Titanic: The Musical (StageArt), and Patty Simcox in The Original Grease (Squabbalogic).
During her time at WAAPA, Matilda roles included Margaret White in Carrie: The Musical, Vivienne Kensington in Legally Blonde: The Musical, and Yonah in Children of Eden. She was also awarded the inaugural John Cowdell Music Theatre Award for her performance in West Side Story and was a finalist in the Julie Michael Cabaret Competition. Previously to her life in Perth, Matilda gained her LTCL on clarinet and cruised the Mediterranean as lead production singer with MSC Cruises/ Bor Productions.
The cabaret room capacity is now only 45 guests to adhere to the Covid 19 personal distancing rules
