Her Musical Theatre, TV and Stage backgrounds come together to create the return to her first love.... CABARET!
“Lady Sings The Blues" is a story told through music. From Billie to Beyonce, we will discover all the Female Musical Greats and Celebrate them through their Stories and Songs. Prinnie herself, will touch on her 25 plus year career in both Australia and the US. Where she has worked with the likes of Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle, Mary j Blige, Smokey Robinson and so much!
This show is a raw account of the stories and songs of Women Of Colour. Told through the eyes of our own Princess of Soul - Prinnie Stevens.
Australian Born Polynesian RnB Soul Artist, Prinnie, first rose to stardom on Season1 of the voice where she wowed audiences with her high energy performances that set her aside from the rest. Show casing her ability to be one of the countries best triple threat Pop RnB performers. Her ability to sing, dance and act at the highest level has solidified her place as one of the most sort after performers in the country.
Prinnie perfected the art of song & dance from a young age, landing her 1st musical at 17 in the HIT musical, RENT. She has had continued success in several shows headlining Thriller LIVE (songs of michael jackson) on London’s west end & The Bodyguard - the musical (ft music from Whitney Houston) with rave reviews as Nicki Maron. More recently Prinnie played iconic role of SHEILA along side High Sheridan in the 50th Anniversary production of HAIR that toured the country with huge success. In 2019, Prinnie returned to the TV on The voice Season 8 as the first ever ALL-STAR.
With 2020 being one year we will never forget Prinnie performed to sell out audiences a show designed to heal us all - “Music for the SOUL”. Both Self Written & Produced. From this Prinnie has been invited to showcase another stella piece “Lady Sings The blues” - a Show featuring the music & stories from Billie (Holiday) to Beyonce. Hitting the stage at The Adelaide Fringe Festival 2021.
