Rebecca Verrier is a powerhouse vocalist, actor, dancer and artistic director. Her diverse musical career has seen her headline the stages of Las Vegas, New York, Boston, Macau, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and at home in Australia.
Hailing from Mauritius yet brought up in Australia, from an early age Rebecca has been captivated by the great diva style performers from the 1950s to the present day.
She admired and tried to emulate vocalists including Edith Piaf, Etta James, Tina Turner and Aretha Franklin although growing up in the 1980s her greatest love was always Whitney Houston. Singing in both French and English Rebecca was performing in Sydney clubs from a young age winning numerous competitions and working professionally whilst still a teenager. She technically wasn’t old enough to even be in the club but she was on stage dancing and singing her heart out in French production shows.
