About the event

3 course dinner and 2 twenty minutes live sets

In celebration of Sydney Mardi Gras and the pursuit of his most authentic self, Draxl explores the repertoire of two of his long-time but often concealed early influences - Babs and Judy. From the excitement he felt at age 8 receiving his first ever CD of Streisand's greatest hits to watching Judy Garland click her ruby slippers together Draxl knew he was different. Often regarded by himself as a secret guilty pleasure he finally reveals his long and deep lying love for two of his greatest idols in a celebration of two very different careers and their fleeting crossing of paths. Featuring standout hits such as People andThe Man That Got Away

BIO:Known to television audiences around the globe for his performance as Dr Henry Fox in the Logie Award-winning A Place to Call Home, Draxl has featured in countless other hit TV shows including Serangoon Road, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and The Shark Net for which he received a Silver Logie nomination, while his film credits include A Few Best Men and Swimming Upstream to name a few. On stage, he has thrilled audiences with leading roles in Only Heaven Knows and Catch Me If You Can at Hayes Theatre and Torch Song Trilogy at Darlinghurst Theatre Company.
