We invite you to spend an evening with a pair of emerging professionals; Tom Kelly and Jenna Woolley as they take you on a journey through auditions gone wrong, callbacks gone right and roles that were never meant to be.Get ready for a night of captivating vocals, side-splitting stories and tender moments as our rising stars take you through their greatest hits, their greatest regrets and the songs they never got to sing.

Jenna Woolley bio:

Jenna Woolley is an actor and singer, having graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in the Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2019. Jenna made her professional musical theatre debut in 2022 in ‘The Deb’ - written and directed by Hannah Reilly with Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP). She played the role of Danielle and understudied the lead role of Taylah Simpkins. Jenna has also played a variety of leading and ensemble roles with Packemin Productions, including Annas (Jesus Christ Superstar), Enid Hoopes (Legally Blonde) and Understudy to Madame Thenardier (Les Miserables). Other community theatre highlights include Rose in Dogfight (Blackout Theatre Company) and Scaramouche in We Will Rock You (Hornsby Musical Society). Later this year, Jenna will be joining the cast of a new musical: ‘Rabbits on a Red Planet’ with Carrot and Stick productions and will be going on tour with Meerkat Productions across southern New South Wales.

Tom Kelly bio:

Tom holds a Diploma of Musical Theatre from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), graduating in 2022. Theatre credits include Enjolras in the upcoming season of Les Misérables by Packemin Productions at Riverside Theatres, Urinetown with Hayes Theatre Co. playing the dual roles of Barrel/Tiny Tom and covering the lead role Bobby Strong, Mick/Martin in Three Winters Green (Lambert House Enterprises) and Jamie in The Credeaux Canvas (Lambert House Enterprises).He tours as a lead vocalist for Peak Entertainment’s Rock Anthology of which two studio albums are available on Spotify and Apple Music.

David Catterall bio:

David Catterall is a music director, pianist and flautist.  He graduated from Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2014.  David has obtained his Licentiate diploma for flute in 2015 and his Associate diploma for piano in 2022.  As a music director, he has lead large scale musicals including Beauty and the Beast, The Wizard of Oz and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Recently, David has also found a passion for training youth in Western Sydney, and co-founded his own junior theatre company Fantasia Showstoppers.  In January, David travelled to the United States to pursue professional training in music directing for youth with Daniel Mertzlufft, and through professional development workshops at the International Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta.  David currently works for Sydney Philharmonia Choirs as a répétiteur, and teaches piano and flute at Phoenix Rising Music Studio - his own business for which he won the Most Outstanding Sole Operator in the Local Business Awards in 2022.
