Join Chelsea and Nicola as they analyse that optimistic phrase in their very first cabaret ‘OhThe Places You’ll Go’, reflecting upon the trials and tribulations of their first year out of good old Port Macquarie.
Filled with your favourite tunes, join them for a night of nostalgia and fun.
Nicola Bio:
Nicola Awad is currently in her second year of medicine, beginning to blend the worlds of science and the performing arts, studying at the University of New South Wales and with the Australian Musical Theatre Academy. Originally based in Port Macquarie, Nicola began training at Port Macquarie Performing Arts, where her loveof theatre emerged as they provided opportunities to both teach and perform. With apassion for choral music, her most notable credits include performing Paul Mealor’s Requiem: Souls of the Righteous in Carnegie Hall, winning the Vocal Prize in Musica Viva’s Strike A Chord Competition and recently joining VOX. Nicola is beyond excited to be sharing the stage with Chelsea in their very first cabaret at Clare’sKitchen.
Chelsea Bio:
Originally from Port Macquarie, Chelsea Taylor is currently in her second year of Pre-Medicine at the University of Wollongong. Growing up with a love for all kinds of music, Chelsea’s performing arts experiences live between choir and theatre. Her choral credits include winning the Vocal Prize in the Music Viva Strike A Chord Competition and working with Stephen Tabener and Rachel Hore. With theatre as a first love and key subject during her HSC, Chelsea has recently taken on roles in ‘Alice in Wonderland’ (GYB), ‘Beauty and the Beast’ (GYM), and ‘Matilda’.
Chelsea is thrilled to be performing at Claire’s Kitchen in her first ever cabaret.
