You’ve been kordially invited to celebrate with Katia. A kompliation of tunes karefully crafted to tell the tale of an almost kuarter century. Kome for a night to kommemorate the highs and lows, laughter and tears, shared with a champagne or two.
Katia, has a Degree in Musical theatre from the Elder Conservatorium of Music, Adelaide University (2022). In 2018 Katia graduated from the Talent Development Project directed by Peter Cousens, and in 2019 she completed a Diploma of Musical Theatre with honours at Brent Street Performing Arts.
She made her professional debut as Greta in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Tim Lawson Productions, dir. Roger Hodgman) at the Capitol Theatre in 2012.
During her final year at university, Katia played the role of Eponine in Les Misérables (dir. Erin James), Serena in Legally Blonde (dir. Nikki Snelson from the Original Broadway cast) and had a featured role in the cast of In Pieces. Katia has performed in countless productions over the years, including Urinetown (Elder Conservatorium) as Soupy Sue, Jesus Christ Superstar (Packemin Productions), Cats (Packemin Productions) as Jellylorum, the Australian Premiere of 13 the Musical (Birdie Productions).
Katia would like to thank her family for their constant love and support and hopes you enjoy her first solo cabaret. If not, there’s always the wonderful service and food at Claire’s and of course plenty of wine to ease the pain.
