In her nearly 30 years as the singing retail therapist from the Sutherland Shire, Miranda has made noise in as many ways as she can: unboring trivia mistress, inspiring karaoke hostess, sparkling MC for festivals, receptions and celebrations.
She belts out the bangers at her weekly Turbo Trivia night at New Brighton Hotel in Manly, and croons the tunes at Toot Your Own Horn, a light-hearted live jazz night she hosts each month at DiCK's in Balmain.
Although Miranda thrills in sharing the spotlight, sometimes a girl just has to claim it for her own. In May 2023, supported by five superb musicians, she received a standing ovation for her sold-out one-woman cabaret evening 'Old Queen Cole' at Level One in Kings Cross.
Tonight, OQC collaborator and pianist John Revai reunites with Miranda as she swings, sways and sashays her way through some of the sweetest melodies in the great American Jazz Songbook, joined by the lovely Merv Sequiera on double bass
